The pitch dives on Dive Pitch Shifter will absolutely let Metalcore & Djent players drop crushing breakdowns and ignite insane mosh pits. But it doesn't stop there! Dial in the right settings, and this pedal seamlessly fits into a massive range of genres, from R&B and Nu-Gaze to Blues!

Dive Pitch Shifter

Neon Bounce

Shifting away from global down-tuning, this setup utilizes the Dive Pitch Shifter as a doubler for bouncy City Pop or R&B guitar licks. By relying on unison layering and precise mix control, it adds spatial thickness without dramatic pitch changes, providing solid rhythmic support.

Unison Doubling: Setting both DROP A and DROP B to the Unison position and engaging Latch Mode turns it into an always-on doubler. Instead of pitch shifting, it outputs a secondary voice that perfectly overlaps your dry signal, creating a double-tracking effect that physically thickens your clean lines.

Balanced Mix & Transients: Setting the MIX knob to mid yields a chorus-like detune effect that seamlessly balances your natural tone with the detuned voice. Turning off the integrated glide engine eliminates pitch slide lag, preserving pristine articulation for fast 16th notes or mutes in tight R&B syncopation.

Dive Pitch Shifter

Nu-Gaze Vibe

Leaning into the Nu-gaze style of Title Fight or Nothing, this setup uses the Dive Pitch Shifter as a fixed harmonizer rather than a dynamic drop tool. By layering parallel 5ths and unisons, it expands your frequency range to provide thick, stable spatial support for arpeggios without muddying the rhythm.

Parallel 5th Harmony: Selecting the pitch interval to 7 for DROP A and Unison for DROP B, and engaging Latch Mode keeps the effect always on. This outputs a secondary unison voice alongside a parallel 5th sub-bass. This fixed interval adds a melancholic frequency width perfectly suited for Nu-gaze's artificial spatial depth.

Balanced Mix & Instant Response: A centered MIX adjusts the blend of dry and wet signals equally. Turning off the GLIDE ATK completely removes the attack time for pitch gliding, ensuring every picked note instantly outputs the set interval. This preserves note independence for crisp arpeggios without muddy glissando lag.

Dive Pitch Shifter

Voodoo Sub

Returning to classic blues hard rock solos, the Dive Pitch Shifter acts as a traditional octaver, supporting the seamless layering of sub-octaves with your dry signal. It ditches dynamic pitch drops to focus on adding pure thickness and aggression to your lead lines.

Sub-Octave Foundation: Selecting the pitch interval to 12 for DROP A and Unison for DROP B, and engaging Latch Mode keeps the effect always on. This adds a stable sub-octave beneath the unison voice, significantly increasing the depth and physical weight of your single-note solos.

Low Mix & Instant Tracking: A low MIX adjusts the blend of dry and wet signals, letting your dry tone dominate to prevent muddy low-end. Turning off the GLIDE ATK completely removes pitch slide lag. Powered by ultra-fast polyphonic tracking, it guarantees a clear, accurate pitch response for fast bends and dense blues licks.

Dive Pitch Shifter

Whiskey Bottom

Returning to classic blues progressions, the Dive Pitch Shifter acts as a pure octaver to support the seamless layering of sub-octaves with your dry signal. By utilizing a high wet blend, it provides your blues lines with a raw, heavy physical weight like aged whiskey.

Sub-Octave Foundation: Selecting the pitch interval to 12 for DROP A and Unison for DROP B, and engaging Latch Mode keeps the effect always on. This adds a stable sub-octave beneath the unison voice, delivering a massive pitch-shifting territory and extremely deep low-end for your single-note lines.

High Mix & Instant Tracking: Setting the MIX near maximum adjusts the blend of dry and wet signals to heavily favor the wet side, thick enough to almost completely wrap the dry signal. Turning off the GLIDE ATK removes pitch slide lag. Powered by ultra-fast polyphonic tracking, it ensures instant, accurate pitch response during classic blues bends and vibrato, keeping the phrasing crisp.

Dive Pitch Shifter

Loong Soaring

Entering Metalcore, this setup uses the integrated glide engine for expression-pedal-free dive bomb and glide effects during breakdowns. With 100% wet output and mid-speed glides, it becomes a dynamic engine for heavy, weightless spatial tearing.

100% Wet 5th Foundation: Setting DROP A to 7 (down a 5th) and DROP B to Uni, while maxing out MIX to adjust the blend of dry and wet signals, delivers 100% wet output. This cuts the dry signal entirely, providing a heavy unison/sub-5th foundation for breakdowns.

Mid-Speed Glide & Climb: A centered GLIDE ATK adjusts the attack time for pitch gliding. In Latch Mode, holding the footswitch to switch between DROP A and DROP B smoothly pulls sustained chords upward, injecting massive whammy-bar tension into heavy phrases.

Dive Pitch Shifter

Abyssal Plunge

Injecting a slow, heavy Doom flavor into Metalcore breakdowns, this setup uses the pedal as a pure pitch-drop engine. Utilizing the integrated glide engine, it creates an oppressive gravitational pull and crushing rhythm without a physical whammy bar.

100% Wet Dive State: Setting DROP A to Unison and DROP B to Dive, while maxing out MIX to adjust the blend of dry and wet signals, delivers 100% wet output. This cuts the dry signal completely, stripping away traditional string textures to leave absolute headroom for massive pitch drops.

Dive Bomb Glide: A lower GLIDE ATK adjusts the attack time for pitch gliding, preserving a swift but distinct transition trajectory. In Latch Mode, holding the footswitch to switch between DROP A and DROP B smoothly drags chords downward. This creates a weightless dive bomb effect that elongates the rhythm, delivering a muddy, suffocating Doom vibe.
