Klowra effect pedals run on a 9 V DC supply with center-negative polarity and draw at least 250 mA. Using a lower-current or non-center-negative adapter can lead to unstable performance or even malfunction. For clean, noise-free operation, we strongly recommend an isolated power supply.
1. Go to www.klowra.com on your computer to download the latest firmware update file for your model.
2.Connect Klowra Pedal to computer via included USB-C cable.
3.Hold down Footswitch&The LED Button while powering on, The LED Flashing Red
4.Open the firmware update file, Clicking Update will start reading the update.
5. After the successful update, the LED turns off, Restart the pedal and enjoy!
Yes—Klowra effect pedals can be controlled by both an expression pedal and a footswitch via the CTRL jack.
Ctrl Jack Type: 1/4″ TRS balanced (Tip–Ring–Sleeve)
Connection & Setup: Plug your TS or TRS footswitch/expression pedal into the CTRL jack.
The pedal’s LED will flash red, indicating it’s waiting to detect the controller.
While the LED is flashing, tap the footswitch or rock the expression pedal back and forth.
Once recognized, the LED will stop flashing and return to its normal color—your controller is now active.
Note: If you don’t complete the LED-flashing detection process, some control functions may remain unavailable.
Make sure to trigger the pedal repeatedly until the LED confirms successful pairing
You can set the LED Button’s brightness in the Power-Up Modes.
Enter Power-Up Modes
• Press and hold the footswitch while powering on the pedal.
• The LED will flash to indicate you’ve successfully entered Power-Up Modes.
Adjust LED Brightness
• Rotate the TONE knob:
Fully left for the dimmest setting
Fully right for the brightest setting Exit Power-Up Modes
• Short-press the footswitch again.
Note: In addition to the LED Button brightness, Power-Up Modes allow you to configure other features.
For details, please refer to the user manual.
Klowra effect pedals support both True Bypass and Buffered Bypass. You select the mode at Power-Up Modes:
1.Press & hold the footswitch while powering on the pedal.
2.The LED will flash:
LED Green flashes to indicate True Bypass mode.
LED Red flashes to indicate Buffered Bypass mode.
You can switch between modes by short-press the LED button.
3.Once your settings are configured, short-press the footswitch again to exit Power-Up Modes.
*Klowra effect pedals will remember this setting on subsequent power-ups.
Currently, Klowra pedals do not support saving cloud-based parameters. However, you can save the current panel settings as a Snapset and recall them using the Ramp function.
Yes, Klowra Limbo & Everlast pedals feature a Trails function in Buffered Bypass mode, which allows the effect to naturally fade out the tail when bypassed, preserving the echo or reverb effects.
The Ramp function allows you to smoothly transition between Snap-Set and Panel-Set parameter settings by holding down the footswitch. This feature enables dynamic sound changes over time, making it perfect for evolving soundscapes or live performance adjustments. You can activate the Ramp function using either a footswitch or an external expression pedal for real-time control.
