Klowra Vein Pitch Shifter Firmware v3.0.0 Update: 8ms Latency, Dual DSP Modes & Harmony System

We have officially released the v3.0.0 firmware for Klowra Vein Pitch Shifter. Powered by our rebuilt Wildseed Engine, this update focuses purely on extreme low latency, dynamic accuracy, and expanded stereo routing.
8ms Ultra-Low Latency & Sub-Frequency Optimization: Extreme Speed Meets Ultimate Clarity
Overall system latency has been pushed to an extreme limit of 8ms. Even during high-speed alternate picking, the pitch-shifted signal flawlessly locks onto the picking dynamics, achieving true zero-lag tracking. The touch dynamics for heavy palm mutes have been specifically optimized, significantly enhancing the articulation and percussive impact during fast, consecutive chugging. It effectively handles extreme drop-tuned Djent riffs, completely eliminating low-end muddiness when transitioning from high registers down to the lower strings. Additionally, the -2 OCT tracking algorithm has been rebuilt to remove muddy sub-frequencies, resulting in a tighter, punchier low-end groove.
Dual DSP Modes: Tailored Picking Dynamics
Two distinct DSP algorithms have been introduced to accommodate different rigs and playing styles:
Tight Mode (New Default): Tuned specifically for modern high-gain metal. It delivers an immediate, aggressive transient response perfect for intense chugging and fast picking. The tone is clean, transparent, and sharp, ensuring complex riffs retain maximum clarity within a dense mix.
Classic Mode: Features a thicker tone with more low-end response, leaning towards the iconic, vintage "Red Box" sound. Ideal for laying down a massive sonic foundation or providing smoother tracking transitions for ambient, atmospheric soundscapes.
How to Access: Enter the boot setup mode while powering on the Vein Pitch Shifter. In this state, turn the Glide ATK knob: roll it fully counter-clockwise to select Tight Mode, or fully clockwise to select Classic Mode.
Glide Dynamic Reconstruction: Precise Expression Control
The response curve of the Glide function has been optimized to massively improve dynamic expression. An update to the underlying logic enables an imperceptible, instantaneous engagement, ensuring the glide transition from the dry signal to the target pitch is flawlessly smooth and linear, completely eliminating any harsh digital stepping artifacts. At narrow interval settings, it naturally simulates the smooth vibrato of pulling a physical whammy bar. For wide interval leaps, it delivers high-tension dive-bomb effects, ensuring that extreme pitch shifts maintain a solid low-end under heavy distortion, with a clear and controllable note trajectory.
Hidden Harmony System: Smart Routing & Three-Voice Wall of Sound
By holding The LED Button and turning the Glide RLS knob clockwise, the hidden secondary Harmony interval is awakened. The system now unlocks a total of 16 different interval permutations between the primary pitch and the Harmony voice. Combined with the 100% Analog Dry signal, players can easily construct a massive, three-voice soundscape. Furthermore, this feature utilizes smart routing detection, automatically switching its operational logic based on the pedal's physical output environment:
Mono Mode (Mono Output & Dry/Wet Split): The Harmony parameter acts as a relative volume controller (0% - 100%) for the secondary interval, allowing precise blending of the second voice within the mix.
Stereo Mode (Stereo Output): Forces hard panning (primary pitch left, secondary pitch right) and locks the volume balance. When Harmony > 0, it outputs a wide stereo harmony; when Harmony = 0, it triggers Doubler Mode, instantly generating a massive "double-tracking" wall of sound.
Uni Mode Optimization: A Wider Core Soundscape
A subtle 10-cent detune has been introduced by default into the wet signal of the Uni Mode. This breaks up the unnatural stiffness of absolute unison stacking, utilizing the micro-pitch difference to naturally thicken the overall soundscape for a much fuller auditory experience. Concurrently, a parameter bug in the Detune mode has been patched, ensuring the absolute purity and solidity of the core tone remains entirely uncompromised.
